Projects

Founder - Popckorn Project (2010-2020)

Popckorn's mission was to communicate stories through smart content.

Popckorn expanded and strengthened the power of real-time storytelling by encouraging digital artists, creating spaces for meeting and discussion, and sharing knowledge around a new photography paradigm. Its work explored visual literacy through mobile photography, supported in part by brands and the social media community.

The project focused on visual narratives: exploring the world through the lens of mobile phones and capturing, editing, and sharing moments as they happened.

  • Developed the first Mobile Photography Gallery and Festival in Argentina and Brazil, in partnership with FoLa (Fototeca Latinoamericana, Argentina) and MIS (Museum of Image and Sound, Brazil).
  • Created ad hoc digital workshops for brands including Adidas, Editorial Perfil, Google, Samsung, FWTV, and Turner Broadcasting Latin America.
  • Led free mobile photography workshops in shanty towns in partnership with NGOs and the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, using photography as a tool for social integration, creative expression, communication skills, and access to visual arts for children and young people in vulnerable contexts.
